Prime Time

History:
In the 1960's a number of young married couples began meeting together on Sunday morning at First Christian Church to discuss Christian family issues. This group became known as the "Homebuilders", with many of the original members still active in the class which meets at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday morning in the church dining area.

Study Topics:
The Prime Time Class studies a variety of subjects, as chosen and agreed upon by the entire class. Generally, four or five separate topics are dealt with throughout the year, with a strong emphasis on in-depth study of the Bible and its application to life situations.

Format:
The class has a traditional format of open discussion with input from all who attend. The informal structure of the class, and the camaraderie and good humor enjoyed by all, creates an atmosphere in which visitors and new members feel welcome and comfortable. Consequently, the class invites persons of any religious background to visit or become members of Prime Time.

Social Activities:
The class enjoys a wide variety of social activities throughout the year, including campouts, day excursions, snow and beach trips, Christmas parties, dining out, attending theatrical productions, athletic activities and much more. Also, ample opportunities are available for group or individual volunteer work in church or community projects.
