Here's a schedule of events for the 2006 Advent Season:

 

December 1, Northwest Christian College presents "Candlelight Carols" A Christmas Concert.  Begin your holiday season in style at NCC's annual Community Christmas concert.  Dessert reception immediately following.

Contributing performers include:

NCC Community Choir - 54 voice choir of alumni, faculty, staff, trustees, and students

December 3 Combined Service at 10:30 AM ~ Hanging of the Greens

Following the service, In lieu of the Advent Workshop, stay for an All Church Potluck.  Bring a main dish, salad, or dessert. We will have materials available at a small price to make your Holiday Advent Wreath or a Graham Cracker House.



 

December 12 & 13 7:30 PM -- Oregon Mozart Players Candlelight Concert

Baroque for the Holidays.  The popular annual Candlelight Concert, at First Christian Church.  Tickets available through the Hult Center Box Office.

Saturday, December 16th at 7:00 PM

Greater Eugene Sacred Choir, 3rd Annual Christmas Concert, with special guests, the Parks Family Singers.

Come experience the joy and wonder of Christmas through Christ-centered choir music, flute accompaniments, congregational singing, solos, and inspirational readings!

A freewill offering will be taken.

Concert to be held at Eugene First Christian Church, 1166 Oak Street, Eugene, Oregon

Sunday, December 17 at 5:00 PM.

“The Not So Silent Night”, a Children’s Musical presented by First Christian Church Youth.

King Herod’s palace is buzzing with excitement! Scribbles the Scribe is searching the scriptures for salvation when three Magi appear looking for the new King of the Jews. As the Magi hit the road to Bethlehem, Scribbles follows hoping the Magi will lead him to the Messiah.

 

Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24th:

7:00 PM Family Service with the Celebration Singers
11:00 PM Candle light service with guest Jane Allen on Harp.
