Youth Ministry

Our Purpose in YOUTH MINISTRY:

Education:

Donít become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. Youíll be changed from the inside out.  (Romans 12:2, MSG)

Fellowship:

You who are young, make the most of your youth. Relish your youthful vigor. Follow the impulses of your heart. (Ecclesiastes 11:9a, MSG)

Discipleship:

You are Christís bodyóthatís who you are! You must never forget this. (1 Corinthians 12:27, MSG)

Summer Sunday School

This summer we have a combined Sunday school class for graduates of grades 5-12.  They meet in the History room (2nd floor next to the Library) from 10:15-11:00, Sunday mornings.  Summer session is July 14-August 25.  The focus for this session is on the Path to Discipleship.

Youth Sunday

In October the Youth Group will take over worship and have an opportunity to share their message with the congregation.  Any youth wanting to participate in planning or leading Worship, please contact Stephanie Turner, Youth Director.

Join Youth E-News mailing list:

Each month the FCC office will email a Youth Newsletter with details of upcoming events, fundraisers, and other youth related news.  This mailing list will also get event reminders, detail changes, and other necessary correspondences pertaining to youth events.

Permission/Health Forms:

Each year FCC needs to update /renew all healthcare and contact information.. New forms are available each September.  They need to be turned in at the first Sunday school class or event that they youth attends on or after September 1.  These forms include a Youth Participation Contract as well as a medical release (allowing for treatment or transportation if necessary) please make sure all parties read before signing.

Permission Form -- please click here to view our permission form for participation in Youth activities.  You can print this form, fill it out, and then bring it to the church office.
