BBQ/Potluck to Follow

Once a year the congregation worships outside in a local park, followed by a barbecue and potluck lunch.   We always need additional worship support to be deacons and welcome guests; additional volunteers are needed to set up, lead bbq, and clean up. Please email April if you would like to volunteer this year. Or sign up on Sundays in the sanctuary.

Things to know about Church in the Park:

Depending upon the park, some benches and seating are available, but it’s best to bring your favorite lawn chair or blanket for comfort during worship.

We do have nursery attendants working at the parkso children can safely play while parents are in worship. Children are always welcome and included in worship, and our nursery attendants travel as a group back and forth from playground areas to the worship space.

Please bring something to share at the potluck! Side dishes, salads, desserts, chips, everything sounds good. The church provides hot dogs, veggie burgers, and chicken breasts and all the trimmings for them. You provide the rest. (including the serving utensil needed). Be sure to label your things.

If possible, please bring your own dishes, cups, and utensils! The church does provide some, but it helps a bunch if you can bring your own.

Pets are welcome! But please do keep them on a leash and care for them at all times in the park. Thank you.

Friends are most welcome! Invite neighbors, family, and friends to enjoy a truly beautiful worship experience led by our own The New Celebration, our music worship leaders at our contemporary worship.
